Finca Jazmin is part of a young association of indigenous Lenca women called Mujale. They have been working hard together since 2013. Their mission is to combat unemployment and extreme poverty in the local population and to empower and provide visibility to a growing network of women coffee producers. This inspiring group of women are from the Chinacla, Márcala, Santa Ana and Guajiquiro areas of coffee production. Mujale cultivates their coffee beneath shade provided by diverse species of trees, they use only organic fertilizers, and they take precautions to protect the health and vitality of their soils.
